Pickover has some interesting ideas if you can wade through the mire of his ego that is about 70% of the words in this book. He is shamelessly self-promoting, forcing his so-called achievements down your throat with at least every other sentence, but aside from that, he is a bright man with some insights worth hearing. I started off able to laugh at his ego, but it got a little hinder some after a while and i couldn't finish the book.
