I have read the entire KGI series despite the graphic torture scenes and graphic rapes. This one pushed it too far. These are supposed to be romances. I have no idea why calling a woman "kick ass" and her vengeance "righteous" is all it takes to make a romance. Sure the hero sticks with her during her trials, but why should a reader of romance subject themselves to stomach-turning violence just to get to a HEA ending.

Her characters are well developed. Her plots engaging. Her writing almost flawless. But you have to have a strong stomach to read most of the KGI series.

Excellent addition to the KGI series. Ive been waiting a long time for PJ and Cole's story. What a ride it was. I think I was in tears through most of the book. There were some awful things that happened to PJ, and its bad enough that we have to 'see' it, but we witness Cole as he hears it all going down but is completely helpless to do anything about it. It was heartwrenching. These two are perfect for each other. Such an amazing story. I love this whole series. Steele's next!!

I'd been looking forward to P.J.'s book, the only female member of KGI. I admit to being a little unsure, since Rio (another one I had been looking forward to) was a bit of a letdown. This is better than than the previous, but there was an event that occurred that I wish didn't happen. I felt KGI were amateurish by not leaving someone stationed at the hotel. Having said that, it was handled well and I felt the aftermath was appropriate to how someone would act.
Cole was sweet. I loved his password. I also liked the addition of a few new team members.

I love the KGI series and this one does not disappoint. I will say it is not a feel-good kind of romance, definitely angst-ridden including horrendous acts against women, specifically against PJ but this heroine shows how not to be a victim and seeks revenge. Is it a revenge everybody would agree with, maybe not, but I felt it was justified. This book is not for the faint of heart but it is well written and allows you to determine your own moral compass. PJ is a kickass heroine and Cole a tender, sweet hero and they are perfect for each other.

Maya, I only have one thing to say and it comes straight from Dolphins lips to yours, Hooyah! Cant wait for the next one!
