This book is amazing with characters like Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn, Thomas More and William Tyndale (known by alias). This book is researched by facts (given in bibliography) and gives you to opportunity to look at the story from a different slant. What if Anne Boleyn really was a Christian and that's why she wouldn't sleep with Henry, what if Anne Boleyn was friends with Tyndale (he said she was a friend in Christ in real life) and that part of why she was killed. History is written by the victors and everyone knows that Henry VIII was NOT kind to his WIVES. How many did he kill again?! Plus exile and forcing one to be his sister instead of his wife, nice guy right. So why do we assume the worst about Anne Boleyn and say she was a ALL about power. This story is very cool, also hints about Luther and his work. I can't wait for the next in the series.

incredibly descriptive work - really encouraged me to think about what the real people did for me thru their suffering & deaths to get the Bible available to everyone

I'm still not clear on the angel aspect but willing to read this account from that perspective.
