The Shadow Murders is the 9th book of the 10-book series. The book is a whole set-up for the last book to come. It was a dark and violent book with chapters switching back and forth between the good and bad guys. The story had multiple POV's. The cliffhanger at the end will lead into the last and final book of the series. I have read the other books of the series but this book is only 3 stars for me. I do look forward to the last book and hopefully will enjoy that one more. If you love books about cold-cases then you would love this book.
