Another great Inspector Chen in Singapore Three tale. Central to story is a dual-gendered assassin whose target (the Emperor of Heaven) is protected by Insp. Chen and his wife (demon Inari) and her familiar (badger/tea kettle), and his partner Demon Irzhu. Tiger demons, intrigues, mayhem. I love the way crossing between Singapore Three, Heaven and Hell is just a matter of finding the right door or boat. Great imagination and fun.
