I have loved all of Karen Harper's books, especially the Amish ones. I have noticed recently she has been writing historical and I have not been interested in that. I wish she would write some suspense again. Shaker Run was one of her better ones.

It started out slow, but once it got going it was really good, and you will never believe, well actually you will, who the true murderers are!
OK book, not as good as other Karen Harper stories. Still an entertaining read.
Set in a Shaker "living History" village, great mystery
Suspense in Shaker country

I have read other Karen Harper books, but this is not one of my favorites, would be okay if you haven't read any of her others. Not a bad book, but is there such thing as a bad book?
Learn a lot about the Shakers and their unusual ways as a mystery unfolds that has more than one layer.
Another great book by Karen Harper I just love her books!!!!!!!!
Author puts a 'rose' quote at the heading of each chapter, I like it.
"likve now, believe me,
wait not til tomorrow,
Gather the roses of life today' quote by -pierre ronsard.
