This is the last book of the trilogy about the Banning Sisters, & I think it's the best of the lot. The youngest and wildest sister, Elizabeth, is chock full of surprises, & the storyline is also. The hero is seriously flawed, but her determination saves him. The storyline is quite an adventure, also, & without giving it away, I have to say that it really moves along. I loved it!
It was a fun book to read. I had to re-read the two previous, since it took quite a while before this one was published. But the Banning sisters all together are enjoyable for their spirit. Even though a lot of violence happens, most of it is offstage. Not much blood or gore. But truly the Perils of Pauline at every turn.
