I have had this kicking around for some time and finally read it. An interesting book. The inside has the Element Chart but re-written; very funny. A story of young people in a small town, their lives, how they pass the time, how they survive in a town where the entire economy has gone kaput with the closing of "The Plants".

The second novel by Generation X author Coupland, his best in my opinion. I love this book!
Another great read from Douglas Coupland. He is fast becoming one of my favorite authors.
Shampoo Planet was written in 1992 after Generation X. Coupland at his best, a must for any fan.
Fast read, really sharp and funny.
One of Coupland's earlier works, peopled with character you can love, despite their imperfections, and satire galore.
