I found this boring as hell and quit after 75 pages.
This book was absolutely awesome! It is British crime fiction but not hard to read at all. So if you normally shy away from that-don't! Just a handful of words that are different(they call a car trunk a "boot").
Such well developed and likable characters, especially the main character. He is a psychology professor with Parkinson's Disease. He deals with this somewhat but it is never the main focus in the story. The Detective Inspector is an extremely witty lesbian. Although the other characters throw some wisecracks her way about it, it's not a topic that is dealt with for any reason.
Details are "spot on" and the plot is well thought out. The author is a great story teller. Definitely a page turner that you cannot put down (well, at least you won't want to).
You will laugh, hold your breath, smile and bite your nails (if you are so inclined). Don't miss this one. It's that one out of 10 novel that you hope for every time you open a new book!
