Though very sad, this was the most interesting, well-written book I have read in a long time. Read it in two days.

Just finished this and what a great book. The story was extremely sad, and it was alarming to read what a "loving" husband could do to his wife and family. It is so how to comprehend why a husband would kill his wife to run off with another woman. It has to be something more psychologically wrong in the brain. I guess people that are not mentally ill will never understand why makes these type of men kill the woman they once loved. The writer did a wonderful job laying out the story and I found myself unable to stop reading.

Interesting murder, interesting characters - glad to see the prosecutor, Kelly Siegler of Cold Justice on TNT, front and center getting justice in the end. However the book is just too black and white in portraying the villain and heroine. No murder victim is that perfect (unless the author is writing SOLELY from contacts with her family). And no murderer is that evil unless the author is SHUT-OUT from other contacts. Was there quite a bit of research? Sure, and the writing is good too. But the book was too one-sided to grip interest.
