Heartwarming love story, interesting mystery!
another great read!! I really like Barbara Freethy. She is good at keeping the story interesting. Jason and Brianna, couldn't keep the things from the past from keeping them from falling in love. I love that she has storylines for some of the characters going from the previous books, like Joe and Charlie. I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens to their relationship next. If they quit fighting the attraction.
Funny , this is my second time thru this book as I forgot I had already read it. I still enjoyed it as much as the first time. Good character storyline and is fast moving.The third in a very good series.
I loved this book's epilogue because it tied up all the other character stories in the entire Angel's Bay series. This was a great book, but made better by the epilogue providing good closure on all the other characters I enjoyed while reading this series.
I can't get enough of the Angel's Bay books by Barbara Freethy. I am amazed at how the author is able to create such moving stories and connect them to the shipwreck long ago which led to the founding of the town of Angel's Bay. Many of the characters from the previous books make an appearance here, but this story is about Brianna, her son, Lucas, and Derek, the husband and father who has died in prison after being convicted of stealing art from the local gallery. Brianna sets out to clear Derek's name and as you might expect, the truth comes out in the end.
