First of all, let me say that Carolyn Brown is a "must read" author for me. I love her books!
However, that being said, this would have to be my least favorite of her books so far. It's not that I didn't like the characters...I did...but Kate and Hart acting so immature throughout most of the book was really annoying.
Then, within the last few chapters, all of their issues are neatly wrapped up, without them ever hashing anything out to an agreeable ending...at least in my opinion.
I did like that the story continues well from the first book, and I was able to catch up on Fancy and Sophie's lives. This is why I enjoy series books so much, getting to see how the other characters are getting along.
I'm already looking forward to Sophie's story. It sounds like it will be very entertaining!
