Patrick McManus is the king of outdoor humor. His tales with crazy Eddie Muldoon and Retch Sweeney May not be sophisticated enough for you high-brow types but for us good ol' country boys they are always good for a laugh.

A hilarous collection of accounts from the author's life. A fun read for anyone that likes hunting and fishing, or anyone that loves someone that likes hunting and fishing.

Different cover. Patrick McManus writes stories of hunting, camping, fishing and all around good times of a young man and his side kick Retch Sweeney.and his family dog, Strange. He is the best of the outdoor humorists. I loved his books, If you want a good laugh this is the book for you.

When my husband read this book, it was SO distracting - because he couldn't help but burst into uncontrollable laughter every other page. This, from a guy who rarely lets out a peep!
An OK read but not as good as some of his earlier works.
