This was OK. I was looking forward to this book, but I had a tough time with it. It reads like a PHd Thesis. Maybe I'm just not smart enough for this book. Some interesting points but I found myself just trying to get through it.
The language is unnecessarily inflated, and it is hugely derivative of Zen & The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit.

Very good book even though its a bit hard to read. Crawford is a highly educated and articulate person so sometimes the writing is hard to understand. The premise is that the trades are important vs the knowledge economy where no one makes anything. A different kind of thought process. Says many things that I feel are true. Not everyone should go to college and they should stop trying to send every kid there.
