These are "standard" sci-fi short stories along the inventive, experimental threshold. They are each concerned mostly with exploring some kind of creative premise. Dick is more often known for his complete novels, which are often a bit more radical than these. Still, these stories are quite thought provoking without having to step inside Dick's literary world completely. Good to read if you enjoy the sci-fi gambit in a short piece, as good as Larry Niven's shorts(but not as good as Ray Bradbury's), rather than getting immersed in a total alien fantasy realm.
