If you love history and especially all things Scottish you'll love this series and all the quirky characters - it also has a mystery within a mystery that makes you want to read the next one.

First book I've read by Sharyn Mccrumb and I didn't know how well I'd like her story, but it was well written, witty, fast read and kept my attention. I'll be getting more of this author.
