Excellent narrative on Sidney's very interesting life, career and filmography. I only knew him as an author of thrillers and had no idea of his vast talent. Well worth getting to know him and pleasant listening to the reader. The follow-up interview with Mr Sheldon was the perfect finish to the biography.
Enjoyable. Overviews the Hollywood studio system from the perspective of a writer. Has a life long battle with manic depression (now called bi-polar disorder). Sheldon got lucky, even at times when he experienced hardship.

If you like Sidney Sheldon then you will enjoy this book. It covers his background of writing starting with his days in theater and Hollywood. He is quite an entertaining author to read!!

This is the autobiography of a gentleman who knew better than to "kiss and tell". He worked his career during one of the most interesting periods in Hollywood. I wish I had known him.
