Excellent story! Paranormal romantic suspense. Lots of action, danger and loving. Part of a series, you will want to read the one that comes next, to find out what happens to the sister.

This was one of those sweet love stories that you just can't put down until you know the couple will end up happily-ever-after. Cassie Donovan and Dr. Shane Farhold fell hard for each other fast. Unfortunately, as soon as Cassie revealed that the dreams she'd had for her entire life weren't really dreams, but prophetic visions, the doctor couldn't handle it. Because of some pretty bad childhood emotional trauma by the folks who should have loved him the most, Shane grew up skeptical of anything that couldn't be proven through science, and so he instantly believes that Cassie is no better than those who used and abused him as a child. So he breaks off the relationship and each of them go their separate ways nursing broken hearts.
Months later, Shane returns home after a medical tour of duty in war-torn Afghanistan to find a cryptic letter from Cassie waiting in his mailbox. After a quick visit, he learns that he left Cassie pregnant with his child. While they're making arrangements, he learns that Cassie's and his unborn child's lives are in danger from an unknown psychopath who wants to use Cassies psychic abilities for his own gain. So Shane vows to protect both of them from their assailant.
This story is a VERY fast-paced one. With the exception of the background information that the reader is given at the very beginning regarding the whirlwind romance and the Afghanistan tour, the rest of the story takes place in only a couple of days. I won't reveal the identity of the psychopath or the ending, but you can guess. After all, this IS a romance novel. ;-)

And the future she sees is her own--filled with murder! For Cassie, her power was frightening. To Dr. Shane Farhold, it was a curse.
