True story of the French Underground effort to help exacuate airmen and POWs back to Allied Foreces control.
The tales of courage, sacrafice and honor on behalf of these civilians are only offset by the dispecable, dishonesty and tratiorest acts of their fellow countrymen who would betray their efforts.
These selfless civilia s, who saved many Allied Forces personnel, were often met with violent ends when they were captured, yet they continuedtheir efforts in light of these risks.
A part of history that is not taught in American schools.
