Erin Brokovich remade, with a sub plot of murder. The two stories are connected, but run parallel with no connection until the very end. I enjoyed it, but wished there had been more interweaving of the two themes throughout the novel. I found it unlikely that the lawyer and his team would have been unaware of the murder investigation being run by the brother-in-law of the prosecutor, and the third tangent of the landlady's missing son seemed to have no real relevance to anything. All that being said, it was a fun read, the first of his I've read, and I'll check out some of his other works, but if they all leave me feeling as this one did, he'll not be listed among my favorites.
Legal case similar to "A Civil Action" set in Tulsa, Ok w/ Bernhardt's main man, Kincaid. Bernhardt is always a good legal thriller read
Attorney Ben Kinkaid takes on the biggest law firm in Tulsa. His aim is to bring to justice a major corporation that is dumping toxic chemicals into the water supply of a community, sickening and killing children in the process.
small townb lawyer against a big corporation accused of dumping toxic chemicals. good story
Silent Justice was an excellent read! There were enough turns and twists in the plot to keep me reading. Another excellent Ben Kincaid story.
