I think I have read all of these books.
again margret coel does a good job of what it's like on a rez but with some writers
license.

1923. as a love gift to his grandfather that raised him after his own parents were killed in an auto accident when he was very young. he left and returned with a few answers but he did learn that the answers were on the rez to start with.
father john is back from his sabbatical in rome, vicky holden and he search for answers
to the story that stretch from hollywood in the 1920's to 2010.
