For all his faults I still like Jeffrey Tolliver better than Will.
I stopped reading slaughter for a little while after the last Grant County book. Fans of the series will understand why.
This is an extremely graphic crime novel. Details of violent rape are included. Nasty stuff but the suspense kept my interest even though i guessed who did it and I was so glad to see Jeffrey back. If only in memory.

Engrossing story with some good twists that you don't see coming. Good mix of past and present. Couldn't put this one down.
