Pulp fiction western novel about a mining town in Colorado. Everyone is convinced there is a secret map to a hidden silver mine. The bad guys want it bad enough to kill for it. A young cowboy is kidnapped and held captive because he is believed to know the location of the map. His wealthy father comes to town to save his son and unknowingly becomes involved with a conniving drifter who plans to bluff everyone and make off with a fortune of silver. Schemes are hatched but things don't quite go as expected. A wild western tale suitable for all ages.
