All the excellence of vintage Norton! I think Lyn McConchie probably got closest to Ms. Norton's style and ethical content. I love this one... and probably will NOT post it out to swap. It's too good not to reread.
Strong characters, wonderfully written storyline the two main characters Lorcan an orphan has been written with such depth and the things he goes through and learns about himeself just grabs you and makes you truly care for the character. The second main character Meive is strong, intelligent, brave, and has a connection to nature that is very important to the storyline( I don't want to give it away). The way they meet will be interesting and delightful to anyone who reads this book.
