From back cover:
The Sinclairs of Scotland are known throughout society as the Seven Deadly Sins. Cast out by their father and denied their inheritance unless they mend their wild ways, they travel to London to seek respectability. No member of the clan is more scandalous than Sterling Sinclair, the Marquess of Blackburn. The ladies of the ton are powerless to withstand his rakish charms...until Miss Isoble Carington come along...

I didn't like this book. The premise of 7 brothers and sisters reforming or changing their ways was what got me to buy this, but I just couldn't connect with any of them. No build-up, no redeeming qualities and the mish-mosh of how the male and female characters are attracted to one another just didn't work for me. The author could have done a lot better. Print is large, margins are large and even though there are 334 pages there just isn't enough of a story to grab your interest. And there are six more of these to come, oh well.

I usually enjoy Caskie's books, I couldn't get into this series ( Book 1)

Meet the "Seven Deadly Sins"
The seven Sinclair brothers and sisters live for scandal and delight in disgrace...until their father decrees that they must reform. Propriety has never come easily, but now they have no choice. Marry in haste...or regret in poverty.

The first book in the "Seven Deadly Sins" series. Focus is on the oldest brother... whose sin is greed. As I read the book, I was drawn into the family... I wanted to know more about the siblings...making me look forward to the next books in the series. This is not a book with the typical hero...since he is one of the "Seven Deadly Sins" he has a big flaw to overcome to win the woman of his heart.

I enjoyed the book enough that I purchased it in hardback...which is the only reason I have the paperback posted on pbs!

I generally love Caskie's books, but I really couldn't get into this. It looks to be a long series.

This was a good book. Interesting story. I'm tempted to get the next one but haven't yet. It's a family of 7 kids who's father wants them to grow up and be responsible for themselves so kicks them out of their childhood home and country and sends them to England to survive. Each child has to find his or her own way to survive. I'm not sure I like the father's way of dealing with his children. the oldest makes his own but the father takes it away. I guess he has his reasons but it didn't set well with me. Story was good other than that. I'd recommend it readable.

This was a fun story!
Make a bet and see if you can win it for the money but don't tell your heart!
Great characters, fun and very likable.
Story moves at a great pace with all the fun twists and turns that make you want to finish reading in one sitting.

Ten thousand pounds if she marries Sinclair!
Isobel is horrified to learn that's the amount wagered at White's Club-and now all of London is eagerly betting on her future! She's already publicly spurned the marquess, a man she hardly knows, but she's sure he is up to something, as he launches a bold campaign of seduction anyway. But soon she is surprised to learn there is much more to this man than reckless adventure and bad behavior...and against her will, she begins to relish the thrill of sinning with this stranger...
