When firefighter Jonah Hayes rescues a puppy from a frozen lake, he is surprised at all the attention he gets. Suddenly he is on the front cover of the city paper, and woman are following him all around town. When his boss enters him into a Bachelor Auction charity event, he is purchased by the puppy's owner, Natalie LeBlanc. Natalie is intent on showing Jonah how grateful she is...but she also has another reason for buying Jonah for the weekend.

Light romance story. Vicki Lewis Thompson's books are always an easy, enjoyable read for me. My rating: 4 Stars.
