I enjoyed this book so much and will look for other books by this author. In spite of all her setbacks, Evelyn continues to meet all challenges and continues to fulfill her dream. It is the story of several women and how their lives all improved when they began to put others before self. Very heartwarming.

I found this to be an absolutely delightful book. The main characters-Evelyn, Abigail,Liza, and Margot -are a wonderful assortment of personalities with a variety of life issues who come together as friends and learn from each other along the way. Interwoven with their stories are other characters who are around them in the village of New Bern in CT, where the story is set and from Texas, which is Evelyn's starting point. For me, the quilting references were just icing on the cake. A very uplifting read!

Very good read. I felt as if I knew the ladies in real life. Very enjoyable.

Typical book of this genre. The characters were pretty good, but the situations that the author put them has been done so many times before. I wanted to like it because it is about quilt shops and quilters, but the sappiness just left me with a bad taste in the end. Yes, you want a nice ending, but some does of reality would be good too.

I'm a quilter and I enjoyed the developing friendship of the women who had broken relationships which meeting to quilt helped mend.
