For anyone who remembers when Dorothy Hamill won the gold medal this is a good book. It is an interesting look at someone who has been considered America's Sweetheart but has faced tons of challenges, some private and others not so private. She talks about her family's experience with depression, much if it undiagnosed for many years, and how it impacted the family. I'm 40 and I immediately got the Hamill haircut after the Olympics when she won. I was in awe. So this book was a wonderful look into the life of a celebrity a bit older than myself and to hear the wisdom she has painfully gained over the years.

I've been a fan of Dorothy Hamill for years so I couldn't wait to read this book. She's very honest in talking about the rough spots she went through in her life. And i loved looking at the pictures!
