What can I say about Clive Clussler , I happened upon him in the T - Station
In Boston one day ( no not in the physical sense ) but a fellow rider had left
him behind. well I thought about it and decided that I had no reading material
at work so I kept it - it has been a long ride with him , but what can i tell
you other than Cussler Rocks !!!! I cannot wait till he puts out a new book I'm
there waiting to buy it and slink home and either curl up on my couch or my bed
and not stop till it's all over and I'm left wanting more. happy reading

If you enjoyed the movie "Blood Diamond", you'll enjoy this book, as it touches on similar subject matter. Solid Cussler.

The explosive New York Times bestselling Oregon Files series returns!
Juan Cabrillo and the crew of the covert combat ship Oregon have barely escaped a mission on the Congo River when they intercept a mayday from a defenseless boat under fire off the African coast. Cabrillo takes action, saving the beautiful Sloane Macintyre-who's looking for a long-submerged ship that may hold a fortune in diamonds. But what surprises Cabrillo is her story about a crazy fisherman who claims to have been attacked on the open sea by giant metal snakes in the same area.
What begins as a snake hunt leads Cabrillo onto the trail of a far more lethal quarry-a deranged militant and his followers who plan to unleash the devastating power of nature itself against all who oppose them.

Action packed thriller, very entertaining. Makes you feel like you are there.
Clive Cussler at his usual best. This is one of the Oregon files featuring the hero Juan Cabrillo, just as interesting and fascinating as Dirk Cussler, his hero of the NUMA files.
A good read, fast paced and enjoyable.

My Review
This was the 4th book in the Oregon series. I did enjoy the story lines but some of the technical stuff is way over my head. I like the crew members very much and find the characters very interesting. I will continue reading on as I want to see what else Juan Cabrillo and crew will get involved it. I would recommend these books to those who love adventure stories.

As always, Cussler keeps you reading long into the night. Another "can't put down" book from a master storyteller.
