Not for the faint of heart, the language is sometimes crude and the descriptions of slaughterhouses and factory farms are very disturbing, but I love this book! It definitely strengthened my resolve to eat a vegetarian diet. If you need a wake-up call to the toxic additions to our food supply (not just meat and dairy either) this book will shock you into taking a closer look at what you are eating/drinking. I highly recommend reading it cover to cover!

Very informative. I suggest you read this although after reading this book I have been reluctant to eat any dairy. This book is generally about food and it's benefits- what you don't know but what you should know. Ignorance is bliss but I suggest you read this for the sake of your well being. You'll be amazed to find out what your eating and what you wish you weren't.
