Wow! I absolutely loved this book. So rich with culture and it's very moving. How awesome to love someone that much and be loved back the same way.

Sky Burial by Xinran. It was quite good, brief, but still had a bit of tarnish on it. While the author did take some pains to keep the tone even, it still felt slanted towards the Chinese and how much "good" they were trying to do for "those poor uneducated Tibetans". I would encourage anyone who reads this book to take the time to read other books with a more Tibetan point of view.

A beautifully written book. Fascinating.
I was drawn into this book from page one. An incredible book that shows a completely different culture plus a great story! Highly recommended.
Definitely a pro-China slant, but an enjoyable story and view into nomadic Tibetan life. Still, disappointing.
