Let me start by saying I love Beth Ciotta's books. She is one of my favorite authors. Steam punk, well it is a new genre for me so I have nothing to use as a reference but IMHO this book is fantastic. The characters were quirky, adventuresome and unpredictable. The H/H were a perfect match for each other; even the minor characters brought spunk and depth to the book. I love how she mixed the Victorian age with the 1960s and a touch of the west along with flying machines, a Pegasus, and all sorts of mechanisms that makes up steam punk. Overall, the author gives us a feisty but loving heroine, an adventurous but sweetly romantic hero, and an exciting plot. Definitely recommend and can't wait for Book Two in this trilogy.
