I typically have the books all figured out by the first few chapters but this one had me guessing. Orginal plot and quite differnt.
However...a lot of explicit sex, really couldn't do my normal skip through it b/c I would miss something that happened soon after. That is the reason I willing to part with this author's books and the only reason that I couldn't give it 5 stars ... a little too much graphic sex. Sometimes NOT knowing every detail is better.

How many stars can I give this book? A definite 10 seems about right. If you enjoy the paranormal, psychological, erotic thriller, this one has it all.

Good book! Very creepy and weird to think about. His old girlfriend's spirit comes back srom the grave in another woman's body and wreaks havoc on his life.

This book was incredible. It grabbed you straight from the beginning and you literally hate to put it down. Honestly, this is the first book of this kind that I didn't end up figuring it all out before the end. I was completely in the dark and reading into the wee hours of the morning because I could not put this book down! GREAT!!!

A pretty good story with something for everyone. John Waters is pursued and his family put at risk by an obsessed lover from his past. The twist? His lover died 10 years ago! Greg Iles spins an interesting and almost credible tale of seduction, betrayal, murder and insanity. Reminded me of "Fatal Attraction" due to the similar plot, but the circumstances were different enough to keep me engaged and reading. The ending was a bit too tidy for me. An entertaining read that you might want to take on a business trip as it won't nag at you during the day, but will give you something to distract you in the evening before bed.
Great read. A little different from his others, but just really a great read.
Amazing book! This is the second Greg Iles book and it will not be the last. The storyline is original, creepy, and keeps you wanting to read more and more! Highly Recommended!!!

It took me a while to get into the book. I almost closed it around page 40, but I stayed with it and it turned out to be very exciting,

The successful Mississippi oilman's college affair with Mallory Candler ended long before she was killed, but the mysterious Eve knows things about that affair that only Mallory could have known. That's more than a coincidence, since Eve is actually Mallory's reincarnationor, at least, she's the corporeal body into which Mallory's restless soul seems to have migrated...

This is the second book by Greg Iles that I have read and it didn't disappoint. A great story with a few twists and turns. I didn't really see the ending coming. Iles is a great storyteller.

Absurd premise. What I thought might be a good mystery turns out to be what amounts to a science fiction writing. Very disappointing.
