I really enjoy this series, but I have to say, that the constant repetition of Abby's desire to "not just sit around" and Marco being "bossy, pushy, etc." got old really fast. I know that the "cozy heroine" has to do stupid things and be in conflict with others in order to find the killer, but it was rather obnoxious in this book. I also figured out who had done it early on and spent the rest of the book, annoyed that she hadn't.

Could not put this book down. The story line was great and kept moving briskly. Lots of action in each chapter, interesting characters. Do have to say that the romance line with Marco and Abby is getting a bit old, but wasn't really bad enough to weigh down the whole novel. Other than wanting to shake the book like a rabbit at their foot dragging a time or two, it was fine. :) Excellent ~ can't wait for the next book, "Dirty Rotten Tendrils."

You know you have found a good book when the author leaves you hanging at the end of each chapter and you can't wait to continue the story to find out what happens next. I love this series and this book definitely did not disappoint. The mystery was excellent and kept me baffled until the end when all of the pieces started falling into place. It was interesting having someone from Abby's past re-enter the series. I also enjoyed watching her be the main target in this story and seeing how all of my favorite characters rallied around to keep her protected. LOVE how the book ended and can't wait for book #10!

Liked the story very much. Several twists and turns made it a lot of fun.
Kate Collins does a fine job with the "quirky" Abby- the small town florist who does a fine job of getting into mischief. I enjoyed the book- its fast and fun!
