A cottage by the seaside; a womans sense of de ja vu lead Miss Marple to her last case. Let a sleeping murder lie. Thats the advice of Miss Marple. But, why take it? Lets charge on until there is another murder from which we can peel away the mystery and expose the truth. While Miss Marple diligently tries to guide us to a solution without actually naming the guilty party, we find that one good murder deserves another. How true of Aunt Agatha. Anyway, this one finally leads all to a resolution of the sleeper.

This book was a good, but certainly not one of Agatha Christie's best. Still, a must read if you're a Miss Marple fan.

As a fan of Miss Marple, I found this book very enjoyable. As usual, Miss Marple finds the answer to a particularly troublesome conundrum, in an amazingly simple manner.

From the back of the book: Agatha Christie has saved her best for last. Her final novel features the beloved, uncannily perceptive Miss Jane Marple unraveling the most tantalizing, most macabre case of her career. With this extraordinary novel-pervaded by a very real, very memorable sense of evil-Dame Agatha has ensured her reputation as the world's greatest author of detective fiction and has bequeathed her millions of readers one last delicious surprise.

The last Christie novel written and in my opinion the best. Its Miss Marple's last case and in usual Christie fashion you're guessing right up until the last moment. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good mystery read.

Very nice Miss Marple book ... I kept flip-flopping between who the killer was but the story was very well told. Good cozy mystery and I enjoyed it.

Although her books were written so many years ago, it is amazing how current they read even today. This is one of her best!
