I have to say i'm pleasantly surprised. I knew going in that she would probably write about drugs, sex, etc. and yep, she did....BUT she wrote it with a style that had me laughing in some parts but crying in others. And yes, shuddering in others BUT given the opportunity if I was in her spot I probably would've lived in the Playboy Mansion as well---I think that really helped turn her life around and you can come to only admire Hef for what he tries to do for those girls. The majority of the book though takes place in her early years before meeting Hef. Would've liked more pics of her and Bridget and Holly but I did like the pictures of Hank and Hank Jr. :) Very well written for a first book and will keep an eye out for any others in the future.

Fast/easy read. Not the best writing, but nonetheless, still interesting to get a glimpse into Kendra's life.
I would rate this 3 1/2 if I could. It was a decent read, not a waste of time but I felt there could have been more.
She made it sound so easy to quit drugs as a teen, maybe it was, but most real life situations there is some sort of struggle associated with quitting.
It was interesting to learn more about Kendra, other than what we've seen on TV and wow Hef is really a pimp for getting it in with all those hot playmates at the same time!! I guess for the playmates though the money is worth the cringing... ICK!

Great in detail book. loved
Kendra bares...some. I wasn't exactly impressed with the book, but it wasn't disappointing either. If you watched Girls Next Door or Kendra, then you pretty much have figured out what the book is about. She tells some off screen stories, but most deal with things you have already seen on television or previously read about. Her writing isn't very detailed either. Overall, this isn't a bad biography, it just needs a little more "oomph" to it.
It wasn't as dishy as I had hoped but it was a very fast read and entertaining.
Was interesting but not what I expected.
She promises to reveal 'real life inside the Playboy Mansion' yet there are no wishes. I will put it back on the 'free' book truck for someone else to have. After all, the discarded biography of Gloria Trevi was taken up after only a couple of days....
