Better than book 3, Slightly Married is mostly about Tracey planning her wedding. She's so self-centered and selfish and crazy that she rarely takes her fiance's feelings into consideration and you are left just wondering why anyone would marry her.
I will say that I had more laugh out loud moments in this book than any of the other three. It was very funny. But again, I found Tracey really unsympathetic and I just felt sorry for Jack, her fiance. I guess Wendy Markham is just taking things we women really do and making them BIGGER, but when I read a book I want to find some kind of connection to the characters. I just found myself disliking almost everyone and wondering why Jack doesn't just tell Tracey to take a hike. We never really see any of her redeeming qualities in this story, we just see a very selfish person walking all over a man she's supposed to love. It was really kind of disturbing.
