This is a great how-to book for the beginning or experienced gardener. I am always playing around with ideas for re-shaping my garden, my window boxes, containers, etc.. I always pull this little purple book out and look at what the author has to say. For a book that covers a lot of territory the author manages to give enough detail to make his suggestions and ideas useful. Great illustrations. From hard to soft landscaping its all in here. This is also the book that I hand friends who are a bit intimidated by their gardening projects.
