I spent about 4 months reading this book ultra tick bible style book,in my spare time, having 3 young kids it wasn't easy!. But it was well worth the time, I enjoyed learning several details about his business transactions, and learned how he came from being a shy guy to become a social butterfly, among the highest and powerful circles of business leaders and politicians. His story is about tenacity and brains, a complete financial genius, that I admire even more after reading this book.
A hard working man, nothing comes easy, and sucesses also come with a price. Knowing that he predicted our actual economic mess years ago, makes me wonder why we didn't listen to the signs!!, hope our future generations learn from this man and we have more Buffets in the future, we will need them all.

At 3.5 pounds and 959 pages, this is truly an hefty tome! Interesting recollections about Buffet's life. I did not get too far. It was too slow going to hold my interest and the constant referral to the notes in the back of the book made it even slower.

This book brings such a good detail to who Warren is and how he became known as the Legendary Investor. This is not an investing book.
The specifics are supported from mountain piles of letters, points of views and many people's account of what they see from Warren's actions and words.
He is a genuine odd fellow ( his certain behaviors), honest, thrifty to the point of no return... , a great example. I believe that I learned a couple of things from reading this book, it covers up to year 2008
And I admit, I was always curious as to how he thinks... This is a book about seeing Mr. Buffett as a real human being, with flaws and all, but you also get to appreciate his strengths.
