Teacher Fiona MacPherson and eight students are traveling through the Cascade Mountains when a blizzard hits. They seek shelter at Thunder Mountain Lodge. Their host is John Fallon, a war veteran haunted by secrets and scar that may never heal.

Interesting story. The hero has to fight to overcome his post tramatic stress disorder before he can build a life with the heroine.

I loved the story of this book. I thought it contained all of the elements of a good romance book. Not too wishy/washy and some elements of uniqueness.
