What a fun book and great way to try out new to you authors. All 3 of these stories were entertaining and I loved them all while finding some new series to read!

I second the motion. Quite an enjoyable anthology. Did not like the character's in Jane Feather's story as much as the other two but it wasn't a total dud. Definitely felt Sabrina Jeffries and Julia London's stories had more developed characters that you grew to like. The stories did not see too rushed, especially for an anthology, even though the course of events was only over a matter of days for them all. Still a satisfying read.

Three very well-known authors offer three charming tales of romance occuring around Christmastime. All three plots are well-developed, the characters interesting, and the anthology is the most consistent I have read in a long time. There are no surprises in any of the stories, no twist of fate, but the book is very satisfying nonetheless. A nice book to read on a snowy night to warm the cockles of your heart.

All three stories are wonderful and the romances are very believable. None of them are rushed - which happens a lot in anthologies, but not this one!

I never thought I would enjoy shortened stories but.......
Great quick reads by some of the very best.

While I loved both Sabrina Jeffries's story and Julia London's, I found Jane Feather's left something to be desired. Great to curl up with a cup of tea and read on a chilly winter day!
I enjoyed reading all three stories but I admit my favorite, was A Snowy Night with a Highlander by Julia London. She is at her best in this short story, creating memorable and lovable characters and circumstances. Although, this was short, it was as good as any full length and a worthy read.

I liked this book when I read it the first time and liked it again for the second read. I have Jeffries and London on my reading list and will add Feather as well.
"When Sparks Fly" fits into the Jeffries' School for Heiresses series. And "Snowy Night With a Highlander" is a short story related to London's Book of Scandal Trilogy, so you might have to add these to your reading list.

I read this and am sad to say promptly forgot all three stories. I've read other books by Jane Feather and Sabrina Jeffries that I couldn't get out of my mind because they were so enjoyable. These didn't strike me that way.

Three enjoyable Regency holiday stories from accomplished authors. The second story even features Charles Dickens as a little boy.
