While the sizing is very limited (64 stitches, that's it), the styling options are wonderful. There are a lot of options for toe and heel styles, which I have never seen collected together in one place: band heel, origami toe or heel (okay, this is just a short-row toe or heel with no holes and no wraps), toesies (think foot gloves), thong toe, plus all the classics. There's even an option for a secret pocket! All patterns are top-down. While the cast-on choices are limited, they do seem to be the best ones. All patterns assume that you are using Tofutsies yarn, made from wool, cotton, and Soysilk, although it is noted that you can use any sock yarn. Personally, I think that if you are using sock yarn and 64 stitches, you better have a small foot.
The book would have been much improved with diagrams explaining what each option is along with the photographs. Folks familiar with sock knitting won't have much trouble knowing what each is, but beginners may not know what they have chosen until they knit it.
