A very good book that reminded me very much of a young adult version of Dickens world of pickpockets, harsh streets and dreadfully nasty villains. The Child Prodigy parts are very funny, especially read aloud.

This was a fun easy read sure to please a young reader, or an older reader like myself, who loves children's literature! It was full of twists and turns that were totally unexpected! I think it is similar in nature to the "Series of Unfortunate Events" books.
