I really loved this story. It was set in Phoenix, AZ where I live, and the author really didn't make you feel the heat or the desert or the traffic. It could have been set anywhere, except she names a few roads and high schools etc. But besides that I loved the book. I know it follows kind of a typical chick lit formula, but this is better. The main character isn't an insipid fool and she really isn't terribly flawed and needs to learn a lesson. She is extremely likable, and the Someday jar is a great gimmick in the story to evoke change and growth. Now I want a someday jar, but hey it really need to be a TODAY jar.

This is the author's first novel, it was so good, that I wonder what she could possible improve on. It doesn't read like a first novel. She did write more so I plan to find out. I really do highly recommend this book over some of your other choices.

This was such a fun book! I fell in love with Lanie and found myself rooting for her. Even though the plot was predictable, the laugh-out-loud parts made the book extra enjoyable. I highly recommend this book.
