Camille and Joel's story was a huge yawn. Camille was a cold fish and no amount of explaining why she was that way could warm me to her or make me believe that she was a good match for Joel; I was bummed that she was his choice. But it was more than not being able to connect with Camille that soured the story for me--most likely it was the plot that barely breathed--and it's never a good sign when I start skimming pages. I've been a Balogh fan for years, but to my mind, her romances are fast losing the vibrancy she was once known for. 3 stars--barely.
