Started with the first in the series and can't put them down, reminds me of Downton Abbey.

This is the second book in a trilogy. It moves at a good pace, and I went from Something Dangerous right into the third book.

There really wasn't anyone you could root for in the family as time went on, so while there are many travails as the Lytton's endure the ravages of WW2, I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first book in the trilogy, NO ANGEL.

However, it was still an engrossing read for the most part and I enjoyed following the Lytton's through all of their relationship woes and shenanigans. (I only wish Barty's character hadn't let me down as she got older, becoming a bit less likable, IMHO.)

If you love a (way too long?) soapy English upper class family saga, this series should be right up your alley! I'm not really in a hurry to start Book 3, but will before I forget too much of what happened in this one...
