Justin St. Germain reflects on the murder of his Mother Debbie. The Murder took place only days after 9/11 in a remote part of Arizona were she was living with her fifth husband. The husband becomes the only suspect when they were not able to find him right away.

Book is slow and at times it is him speculating on about what all happen. Not a lot of details about the crime scene but gives enough to know it was awful. You can fell his heartbreak, all he wanted was for his Mother to stop dating and Marrying the same type of men over and over.

On one hand, I really liked this book. I can't imagine how it would feel if my mother was murdered so I felt bad for the author for having to deal with such a horrible tragedy. However, part of me felt the book was slow and a little hard to stick with. I would only read a chapter or two at a time before I would have to put it down for a while. It would usually take a bit of time before I'd pick it up again to read more. It ended up taking me about 4 months to finally finish.
