This is unabridged.
Not bad, but not very satisfying. Readers will hate the ending; it kind of leaves us hanging like the end of "The Wastelands". Do read it, it's not a bad book and advances the storyline, but be prepared to grit your teeth, that's all.
This is the 6th book of the 7 book Dark Tower series.
One of my favorite books from the Dark Tower series.

The next-to-last novel in Stephen King's seven-volume magnum opus, The Dark Tower. In this book we learn that Mia has usurped the body of pregnant Susannah Dean. We also learn about the power of Black 13 in the summer of 1999. In order to save the Tower they need to secure the vacant lot of Calvin Tower. Eddie and Roland are in western Maine in the summer of 1977 and find the author of a novel called 'Salem's Lot, a writer who turns out to be as shocked by them as they are by him. I liked this book the best so far and look forward to the last book.
