I really enjoyed this book - it was a quick read (only a few hours) filled with warmth and wit. Art Buchwald was given an incredible gift - extra months of his life after he was diagnosed with terminal kidney failure. He opted for hospice instead of dialysis, and in the ensuing months, he received vists from friends old and new, celebrities, politicians and fellow writers. When he first entered hospice, he stopped writing, but as time ticked by, he found that he had more to say. He brought in his assistant, and put his thoughts together into this book. Don't miss this one!!
This book is funny and inspiring in many ways. What a way to look at death. We might as well have a sense of humor about it, since it will happen to all of us. Very easy read, only took me 2 days to get through it.
