Although I didn't agree with everything, it was a thought provoking read that went quickly.

If you need to learn how to cope after tragedy or a hard time in life, this is the book. No fluff..Mr. Livingston (who has dealt with much sadness in his life) believes in using reality to heal. And it works because he does it in such an understanding way.

Gordon has some good stuff here. You may not agree with everything he says... but it is certainly worth a read to open up the thinking process

The best part about this book is the table of contents.
The one liners, or, chapter titles, are very good mantras and nice points to ponder. But as the author expounds upon each one I just got bored. I had to force myself to keep reading, and after I got to the chapter where he details his son's suicide, I put it down for good. There are better books out there. This one just happens to have a great title.

Short and sweet chapters that hone in on a specific area. Not a bunch of hard to understand psycho babble like many books. Just a good heartfelt common sense approach that helps us find clarity in our sometimes confusing lives. Highly recommended!
